SOUTH-SOUTH FACILITY PARTNERS

The South-South Facility is a global partnership and multi-donor trust fund. The partners finance the Facility and provide strategic guidance at yearly consultation meetings.

Launched in 2008 as multi-donor trust fund, the South-South Experience Exchange Facility (South-South Facility) is a global partnership comprising a diverse mix of partners. The six original partners are China, Denmark, Mexico, the Netherlands* ,Spain, and the United Kingdom. Colombia, India and Russia joined in 2010. Indonesia joined in 2013. The partners finance the South-South Facility and provide guidance at yearly consultation meetings. These meetings are held in conjunction with the Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, which take place in Washington, D.C. in April of each year.

*The Netherlands left the partnership in 2012
